Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

I use it constantly to insert/delete pages, redact private information, page number, add signatures and stamps, and add letterhead to digital printing. In my experience, it does all of these things easily and in a way that is intuitive to the user. I've also used it extensively to make electronic 'binders', where several documents and an index are combined into one document that is bookmarked and hyperlinked. While this takes a little more knowledge and training, I love the functionality of this in our new reality of hybrid workspaces.
  • Forms
  • Redactions
  • Bates Numbering
  • Document revision
  • Compiling documents
  • Stamps could be a little more customizable
  • Complete functionality that Adobe has (especially when it comes to forms)
  • OCR function is difficult to use and not very smooth at times
  • Saved time and paper putting together binders of documents or Affidavits electronically, not to mention very functional when working from home!
  • It's one price, no monthly or yearly payments. I loved Kofax Power PDF so much that when I moved to a smaller firm I recommended it as a good purchase for the company to invest in.
I think the program is very intuitive for the basics. Adding and removing documents, navigating bookmarks, adding signatures, all these things work very well for me and there are easy buttons and menus to toggle through to get what you want in your document. For those of us who are more tech savvy, there are a plethora of options that are helpful and make our lives just that little bit easier/quicker. They may take a little more know how with the program, but I've been able to utilize them and then train others on their use, making my team more efficient.
It's one price, it's easy to use, and I think personally that it actually does more for me than Adobe does.I believe it is a great product for your money's worth.

This program allows a lot of customizability to PDF document, especially if they are printed electronically. I've been able to delete things, change dates, move around signatures (if someone has signed on the wrong line), etc. It's lovely that you can also create a document in Word and print to PDF and then turn it into a form. Very useful for internal procedures.
I enjoy using Kofax Power PDF to create packages of documents. In my experience, it's easy to have a folder of all the documents needed separately, and then use Kofax Power PDF to compile them, with bookmarks and hyperlinks. Then if a change needs to be made it's easy to simply swap out one of the documents in the folder and recompile. I think Kofax Power PDF is less suited for working with forms that are specifically designed for Adobe. The forms that I have the most trouble with are ones that you fill in information, and then click a button to finalize the document with all of your blanks filled in.
