Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for resources shared on our website, including Handbooks. Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) allows us to update documents that are compiled from multiple sources. We appreciate the page numbering and table of contents features, as well as ability to easily extract and insert pages, and make minor corrections or updates.

Return on Investment

It has has helped us provide professional-looking resources for our association's members.
When we need to update a PDF, and do not have the source document, Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) allows us to easily make minor updates.
The clickable table of contents is helpful, and easy to update. This helps our readers to find items quickly.

Ease-of-Use

I have found the product easy to use, although I had used the former Nuance Power PDF product for a number of years prior to the Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) version. Therefore, I am familiar with often-used commands (to extract, delete and insert), and am familiar with other features, such as table of contents.

Alternatives Considered

I find Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) to have more tools, especially to:

perform minor edits
insert, extract and delete pages
create table of contents
