Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

We use Litmus with one of our partners who manage communications for us. They build and upload our emails onto Litmus and we can easily go in and make comments, suggest changes, and approve them. It makes it much easier to see visually what our recipients will see in their inboxes and make the necessary updates. The platform is really intuitive and easy to use—it's completely changed the process for the better and has been a big win for us.

Pros

  • Simple, intuitive platform that is easy to use.
  • Allows you to comment on actual documents in final form rather than a draft or concept version.
  • Doesn't need a lot of training, can be used by anyone!

Cons

  • The folders function could be made clearer. When I found it, I loved it, but sometimes I can't find it easily.
  • Saved lots of time for my team in manually checking emails and has reduced back and forth with our partner a lot.
  • Speeds up the process significantly as often now we only need one review and comments are much clearer.
Our partners upload the emails into Litmus then that's where my team and I come in. We use commenting, tracking, tagging, approval workflow, etc. to review emails and approve them for sending. It's sped the process up massively as we can comment on the final versions rather than reviewing conceptual versions or saying things like "third line down, the fourth word is spelled wrong". It honestly made our work so much easier and would definitely recommend it.

Document review—it's amazing and has made life so much easier! Because we have only used it for one thing, I can't really comment on what it's less appropriate for, but we love it for this purpose and can imagine it'd be useful for other applications too!
