Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo

Pros

  • Very efficient remote and diagnostic control features. Technicians can quickly access a summary of processes, services, and applications on the user’s device allowing them to identify and resolve issues swiftly.

  • Multi platform support. Logmein offers robust support across multi platform including windows, linux, mac, ios and android.

It can be overkill for new agent or users who we provide accesses to them but the learning curve is not that steep and our training team provide them walkthroughs on how to use the LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo tool. There are other features that need a bit of exploration as there are so many advanced features we had not explored yet.
I gave logmein customizability 7 out of 10 and i think it is quite fair. I am an admin in our logmein database and we provide accesses to new agents. It logmein tool supports various connection methods such as pin codes and direct links sent via email and this provides flexibility in how support sessions are initiated. However, there are areas where it can improve better. Our agents find the interface quite overwhelming specially for new hires and the advanced customization might require technical expertise. Not all of our agents our technically savvy though the logmein tool features are fascinating, not all of it are being used by the agents. Overall I believe the rate of 7 is fair.

Internal IT support, customer support for tech companies and likely educational institutions. LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo might be less appropriate to small business owners to likely cost. For basic troubleshooting tasks, less expensive and simpler tools might be appropriate for some users, as logmein rescue's advanced features can be at times overkill.
