Flexible and as user friendly as you could hope for
Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
We use Lucid Chart for all manner of graphically representative applications. We use it to map out our internal processes, workflows, and frameworks for various projects. We have started providing access to our clients to display user experience processes and allow them to edit our working files directly.
Pros
- Graphical displays of processes
- Wireframes for design projects
- Org charts and department structures
Cons
- Importing images is a bit clunky
- Not enough graphical elements like images and icons
- Exporting can be a bit tricky
- It's a fast product to learn and use which has saved us considerable time compared to previous methods, potentially in the realm of 20% in terms of time saved when mapping projects.
- Because of its collaborative features, getting tasks signed off and approved by clients is much quicker than trying to do so via email tennis.
- It strengthens our proposals and documents considerably now that we can demonstrate visually how our proposed services will come together.
We just found Lucid Chart more user friendly than Visio and more specific to what we needed than Smartsheet. It may be a little less comprehensive than some tools but as far as fit-for-purpose tools go, this was exactly what we required. We can inttegrate with Teams for even better collaboration.
