Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I believe [Lucidchart] is about as easy as it can get if a user has no prior knowledge of using these types of tool or a very limited basic understanding and could help improve novice users understanding.
[Lucidchart] is being used for wire frame diagramming for development of applications to support all areas of the business and the development of software. It is also being used for process mapping and swim lane mapping for manufacturing and office processes. It is being used by multiple departments from IT, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing to visualize processes and how we need them to work and operate, but also in order to visualize what the current state is and how we can make changes to those processes to improve.

  • Process Mapping
  • Swim Lane Mapping
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Process Modeling and Capability to attach to Process Mapping
  • Not simple API to be able to attach workflows to actual processes
  • Save time while collaborating with IT
  • Improved productivity
  • Better performance and understanding of processes.
It has not had much added value for these things at this time. It is being used for Atlassian though.
Have never had an unresolved issue.

[Lucidchart] does process mapping, swim lane diagrams and wire frame diagrams very will, but does not have any added benefit for conducting value stream mapping or other types of more in depth. It also does not do very well for building layouts and designs and while you can cobble things together there are other applications that do those things much better.
