Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
We use Lucidchart to power our agile/scrum retrospectives, to support process definition and refinement, and for collaborative editing in support of requirements analysis and technical architecture planning. Between the collaborative editing, the flexibility to produce any kind of chart or diagram, and the support of voting mechanisms, Lucidchart helps to cut through multiple rounds of review and refine and allows us to collaborate faster and more confidently for internal and client-facing deliverables.
- Collaborative editing
- User-friendliness
- Flexibility
- Licensing for more casual users
- Programatic integration with other key applications
- Geometric tools for more precise constructions
- Auto-arrange features
- Improved speed-to-alignment (eliminating review/refine slog).
- Improved baseline quality of process diagrams.
- Improved consistency between outputs (being able to leverage good deliverables).
Being able to link out to Atlassian content (especially supporting content in Confluence) means that engineers can use their favorite tool for collecting information and suggesting recommendations, and we can tie back collaboratively-designed process flows to specific technical documentation. We have not made much use of Slack, BambooHR, or Github integrations at this time.

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?
Yes
Lucidspark's infinite canvas is proving incredibly useful for strategic planning and other long-lived activities where being able to navigate the history of complex pictures is valuable. I have found Google Slides and PowerPoint to be underpowered when it comes to integration with Atlassian and other key software tools, requiring a whole lot of manual process.
