Overall Satisfaction with Make

Using Make in an agency capacity to help clients save or gain back time using automations. Make's interface is one of the better ones in the industry and overcomes the limitations of other, more well known SaaS in the industry. This makes it easier for my team to design a workflow out and visualize it. It's numerous integrations with tools that my clients use is a helpful addition.

Pros

  • Nice UI for visualizing workflows
  • Easy to understand billing (operations/time)
  • Thousands of built in integrations to work with

Cons

  • Better navigational capabilities from scenarios
  • Better use of AI or prompting for complex things like iterators/aggregators
  • A "test mode" so that you don't have a ton of runs that are invalid or to be able to populate dummy data without wasting unnecessary operations to create it.
  • Without Make my business wouldn't exist or would take a whole new look
  • Make has allowed me to easily grow the business as well since most things are clone-able
  • I would like to see HIPAA compliance as a lot of my clients are in the healthcare sector
Make's easy to understand user interface helps you to visualize what's happening at all times. Could use some tweaks around the navigation from a scenario specifically in the folders and back navigations. I can't tell you the amount of time wasted in that area. When you branch, you can't bring a branch back together in the same scenario which is kind of a bummer as well.
Make and Activepieces are the best of the bunch for usability. Where Make falls down is the number of integrations OR the number of popular software tools that they integrate with. You've got your standards on all platforms, but new tools are coming every day and the team will need to keep up with Zapier's marketing budget!

Do you think Make delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Make's feature set?

Yes

Did Make live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Make go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Make again?

Yes

Make is really good at being the single source of truth for my clients workflows. It's easy to see how many operations were used, rerun scenarios if they've errored out, and to be able to access those to validate the data. Except for the odd use case where I need to access the native api of a tool Make's integrations are robust. I'd like to see Make work with larger vendors like Kajabi for example for better integrations instead of relying on tired marketplace (paid) implementations.
