Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps us to see what software is installed and to keep it up to date, even if the device is in the office or on the road. it also helps deploying new software no matter where the device is connected. the security edititon gives us the view on the vulnerabities of every client and server, whitch is a great feature.

it brings many templates for well known software
it does vulnerability scan on endpoints
it deploys software very fast
we can see what user is logged on

Cons

the update process could be simplyer
the UI could be a bit clearer
the documentation could be better

find security problems on devices

Usability

the usability of ManageEngine Endpoint Central is not so bad but it could be better. the configuration of the gateway server within the DMZ could be better documented. and there should always be a place to design it better. The fulltext search is a feature that i love very much.

Likelihood to Recommend

In our case we don´t use o365 or other clouds and this product is well suited because it manages devices on premise and also devices in the homeoffice or at a customer site. also the posibility to remote connect to any device without 3rd party software is pretty cool, like teamviewer or something else.
