Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

We use Marketo for email sends and lead management. It is used over the whole organization. The decision to use Marketo was made a while ago and not by any current member of staff. It addresses communication via email for our large user base, for nurturing and onboarding, as well as general user communication.
  • Sadly I have sat here for three minutes already and I cannot think of a particular strength.
  • The entire platform needs to be integrated better. The process of assets and attaching them to programs is cumbersome. The smart campaigns are a joke. Other ESPs have proven that this can be simpler.
  • The inability to properly achieve obsolete programs is ridiculous. Default view should be active programs only.
  • I should be able to have default settings that automatically populate smart list items that we use to filter every time.
  • I should be given the ability to second send to unopened with the click of a button. I mean, it stands to reason that the majority of blast emails are going to be sent a second time at least, doesn't it?
  • Honestly, I could write something for every step of just about every aspect of this platform. I feel like I am going back in time each time I have to use it. UI is overly complicated, UX is therefore poor.
  • Engage and grow customers over time
Yes, but that is not due to Marketo. We could have achieved more with a more user friendly platform I am sure.
Much less intuitive to use. In this day and age, email marketing needn't be a full time job, and Marketo is a time drain.
I don't have anything positive to say about Marketo. As soon as the subscription is up will will be using something else.
