Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

We treat the automation platform as our central hub for necessary management of all inbound leads. We run data processing as well as campaign insights that generally are not collected at the CRM level.
And of course, we use Marketo to execute campaigns and manage fundamental Marketing features such as branding, compliance, tracking, etc.
  • Marketo's smart campaigns and programs can handle great levels of complexity
  • Marketo's filters and activity tabs provide great details and insights into programs and specific leads
  • Smart lists and dynamic segmentations
  • Email Builder is flexible and great to use
  • Field management - be able to delete fields
  • New navigation is harder to use because there's the assets are difficult to differentiate without the old diff color icons

The goal is to have healthy lead funnel, moving buyers along through Marketing and also healthy orchestration amongst Sales roles.
Marketo has a wonderful advanced features and robust platform to support high performance teams and enable complex data. There's a lot of programs needed to build from ground up to ensure successful use cases.
For a small business with simpler needs, Marketo is not fit. There are other automation platforms that have built-in processes where you can just plug in without building from scratch or requiring Marketo expertise.
