Overall Satisfaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence

We use MasterControl Quality Excellence for document, training, QMS, Risk, Supplier and Audit. The product provides a global platform that is scalable and configurable. This allows flexibility within the best practices boundaries.

Pros

  • Document management processes can be streamlined with easy to use configuration elements
  • Training Module features are apt
  • Single platform for all QMS, Risk, Supplier and Audit provides one stop platform.

Cons

  • Audit module user interface to be improved like advanced platform
  • Risk module features to be improved to allow pharmaceutical requirements to be aligned. In addition the workflow should be configurable
  • Insights should have some easy way to create Dashboards. Currently it’s not for easy adoption by all users
  • License can be more flexible to allow bulk buying process instead of per user per module.
  • Integration services price to allow better returns
The interface needs improvement as it’s a bit clunky compared to other products in the market.
We are still evaluating and the outcome will be based on a list of user requirements documented for various need across our organization.

It’s well suited as one stop shop for all the pharmaceutical requirements for QMS. Special emphasis on the advanced platform makes it more flexible for adoption by businesses units. Business can see the overall performance if we use all modules. If all modules are moved to advanced platform, will make it more competitive solution in the market.
