Overall Satisfaction with Matillion
Matillion ETL is being used by our datamanagement team for the ingestion of data from our organisation into the datawarehouse in Snowflake and for transforming this data through the datawarehouse to the acces layers for our end users

- Git integration now stores one big json file which is hard to added when needed
- Credit cost is based on uptime of Matillion ETL, instead of processing time
- Egress can be improved to more targets
- It reduced development time by 70%
- It increase datawarehouse processing time by 20%
With their recent shift to the Cloud it becomes more easy to manage the environments. Also with the new Maya AI where AI can automaticaly build your pipelines it becomes easier to to speed up the delivery of projects
Adding new sources to our data pipelines hugely improved with the use of Matillion
We use Matillion in a way where everything is configurable, so adding a new source is as easy as making a new entry in a configuration table. Matillion pipeline can become complex doing it this way (with the use of variables and loops), but adding new sources becomes so much easier.

We didn't do a greenfield migration, so migration took 1/2 a year to complete for the complete datawarehouse
