Overall Satisfaction with Memsource
I am a freelance translator and proofreader in multiple languages and dialects for companies around the world. Memsource allows me to provide fast turnaround times for clients/project managers as well as maintain consistency in terminology.
- Translation memory in multiple dialects for localization

- Ability to use with various document/file formats
- Ability to divide term bases by client
- Ability to upload terms from a file into term base to use or update
- More user-friendly tag instructions for insertion or deletion
- Term base management
- Ease of use/user-friendly
- Multiple formats easily converted into Memsource
- I can translate faster with Memsource
- It is affordable for a freelancer like me instead of cost-prohibitive like other products
- It doesn't require endless training to master
- I am tech-savvy, but other programs are intimidating...Memsource is the opposite
The price is very high for Trados and as soon as I invest monies in it, another edition/version appears. The interface is not user-friendly. The training is necessary and time-consuming. Memsource works on my MacBook...Trados does not. memoQ is good, but not as impressive as Memsource.
