Mendix platform, my thoughts.

Mendix is used throughout the whole organization and it is used mostly as case handler software for insurance cases. People go out to visit customers or work from behind their desk on various departments related to all kinds of insurances. The data they gather and generate is being processed mainly in Mendix. BI, document generation, and storage are being handled by other applications in an enterprise-style IT landscape and Mendix is very much able to handle being in the centre of it all. It addresses efficiency in where the company used to have five different applications or portals it now has one.
