Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Business

Microsoft 365 is used across the entire University of Kentucky campus. It is serving as a turn-key solution for many technology needs. Using this Microsoft service allows the university to have access to modern technology services which allows students and organizations to focus more on their areas of study and research.
  • wide array of services
  • single authentication
  • reliability
  • cost of services is too high
  • training resources
  • cross platform compatibility
  • The biggest impact would have to be time. 365 has saved us the time and labor involved with setting up, building and hosting our own web services.
  • The Team services is a better way to communicate in that keeps the conversation going over long periods of time.
The wider adoption of Slack by users is hard to compete with. Slack is integrated into far more services and apps than Teams and that makes it a better service. Teams would be a better product if its API was used by more third-party services and Microsoft did not force users into its ecosystem.
Having access to SharePoint groups is particularly useful as our research is divided into many teams, time frames, and topics. In SharePoint we can collaborate and communicate on our work as a team very effectively. The integration of SharePoint Groups into other services helps to save us time in setting the same group up multiple times.
