Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Business

The entire organization is using Office 365 for business. We did a phased implementation for the organization and I was an early adopter in the second phase of early adopters.
  • Looks and worked just like the installed version of Word with the addition of the cloud storage for files.
  • Ability to easily get files externally with a county device.
  • Didn't experience any down time associated with the application.
  • I think it was more of a setting on our side as we could not get to our files from any personal devices.
  • When you shared files with others it sent an email that was external to the county and many people thought it was spam or a phishing attempt.
  • Reduction in on-premise network storage
  • Improved mobility agility for our staff as they can get at their files with their county device anywhere.
  • Simplified keeping current with our office applications.
From the business perspective we didn't evaluate any other applications or products similar to 365. At the county we are Microsoft first on all applications.

I could not tell the difference between 365 and our previous on-premise solution. I was unaware of any scenarios where it didn't work as well as the installed version. The additional storage was great and helped to save our department money as we moved off of network storage.
