Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Application Server

We use it to house our applications that we deploy remotely. Works great. I would recommend it any day. Some issues at times but nothing a server reboot won't fix, either VM server or actual physical one. Only issue is with citrix.

Pros

  • It can be deployed anywhere.
  • It is reliable.
  • Does not break down often.
  • Easy to fix when it goes down.

Cons

  • It needs to be able to support more environments such as thin clients.
  • Good return on investment.
  • Met our goals.
It is the only one we tested so far.
We have our physical server as well as the application server located in one city and we work out of a remote office - we are able to have a tunnel to the server remotely and access all the apps we need. For that it is a life saver, thank you.
