Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Azure

[It's being used] Across a specific department; allows us to model data and to carry out a selection of machine learning tasks around data from our reports.

Pros

  • Pricing models
  • Great security and network resilience
  • AD integration

Cons

  • Lack of stable frameworks or libraries
  • No local stored data
  • Poor documentation for some areas
  • Lowers operational costs
  • Better performance
  • Little downtime
It's relatively straightforward to get set up but can be difficult to find more complicated frameworks.
There's some basics online and these are easy enough to follow but more complicated problems require a little more support and this is hard to come by.
To be honest despite UI the functionality is almost identical. It came to price and support package.
Well suited for analysis and cloud computation of large data samples and doing this off premises.
