Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID

As secondary user directory fille by local AD in a Hybrid Environment

Pros

  • Link to other Applications with SAML
  • granular permission management since Graph

Cons

  • hard to navigate through because menu ist changed frequently
  • renaming is confusing for Azure AD -> Entra ID
  • Conditional Access rule configuration are hard to overview
  • in some cases it removes the neccesarrity to use VPN
  • pretty robust, never had issues with
  • can make the usermanagement easy if you work together with forms/SharePoint
We are in a Hybrid Environment having local Active Directories synched to Entra ID. Some systems are connected to Local AD some on Entra ID
yes, we have some third party systems which are connected as APP to Entra ID via SAML

locally only some Scripts using Graph API
yes MFA has been changed to be non Phishable, and the UI at some points.
Also the "my Profile" was changed some times.

i like the integration features and possibilities to link to foreign systems and APIs.

I don't like e.g. group policies because its never sure when a policy will apply.
In general the time some changes are applied making it hard to test things.
