Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID

We use Microsoft Entra ID currently for all our dedication, our users, we synchronize everything. We have a hybrid environment and we use password authentication for the use of to Azure and Opportunity Device.

Pros

  • It does very well to authentic the user to Azure. So when the user connects to an application that we have deployed, they just do the thing as I know and go to office.

Cons

  • I think at the beginning there were some issues where the user doing the multifactor authentication and configuring the authenticator app to be able to have the other authentication method to the account. At the beginning it was a little confusing for the user to do the process. I think that it's better now, but I think it could be better.
  • It has a positive impact on the user. It's very user intuitive, so the user gets ease of use better than any other product.
We have a hybrid, so we have both. We have on-prem and cloud and we synchronize with Azure.
Yes, So we have a few third party application apps that we connect to Microsoft. So we do the single sign-on and the SAM application. So we require that this application you have to go through the NID application in order to authenticate with those.
We have plenty. We have AWS we connect to Entra ID. We have a lot of built application that we build ourself and we have a lot of other company like BOL and we have plenty I can't mention right now. We have plenty. We have our on-premises build our own self, so our development team, they have a build a few that we connect to Entra ID.
No, not really.
We used Google before, but we tried to use it but it didn't. We didn't like it. I'll this is better. It integrates better with our environment that we have right now.

It is well suited when you are going to integrate Azure ID with third party applications using some single sign-on or Open ID so you can have that authentication with users.

Using Microsoft Entra ID

We use it daily. That's our main authentication for all our users to identify Azure, so we use daily that product.
