Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID

To consolidate all the identities into one. And Microsoft Entra ID seems like that can consolidate all those entities as well as different identities across the organization.

Pros

  • I think it provides that level of flexibility if we need to onboard more and more other SaaS products and it routes through the Entra ID for authentication because it does have those connectors with the third party applications, which we didn't find other places

Cons

  • Cost could be better. But other than that, no. Other than this, we use Okta, but Entra ID is 90% of what we do.
  • More positive than negative right now. I mean it was up and running in a day for us. So that was a quick ROI.
It's a hybrid deployment where we have machines and assets on premise as well as on the cloud. 70, 30% ratio, 30% on-prem and 70% cloud.
Yes, that was the main differentiator for us. Workday, Salesforce, Google applications, some of the Oracle applications, some of the custom applications.
Salesforce and Workday. Yeah, it's QuickBooks. It's a financial application that we use to connect that.
No, much better actually.
The use the flexibility and the easiness of it. We don't need any maintenance or management cost on top of it.

It's anywhere you see identity access management issues, Entra ID is the way to go. Less appropriate, specifically for third party applications where the identity is more delegated then I'm not sure how Entra ID would be rightly suited for that.

Using Microsoft Entra ID

Because there are still some areas, but we're looking to optimize it and I think it has great potential. And the main thing is it integrates well with all of our Microsoft products, with Office 365 Dynamics and any kind of things that go across with Microsoft and third party as well.
