Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Powerpoint
I use Microsoft Powerpoint to create courseware Slides that are converted to Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate. I also use Microsoft Powerpoint for storyboard creation, instructor-led training visual aids, and business presentations and a platform for creating vector art symbols and shapes for conversion into Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere projects and Blender 3D.
Pros
- Instructor-led training visual aid tool
- Animated slideshows for business presentations
- Quick vector art creation tool
- Slide content for importing into Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate
- Interactive Kiosk interface design tool.
Cons
- 3D objects that can be manipulated in slideshows by presenters
- AI tool to cleanup presentations
- AI tool to create graphics
- AI tool to create photo-realistic images
- AI tool to create vector art
- AI tool to create videos
- Blender 3D object importer
- Microsoft Powerpoint is critical to courseware slide development.
- Saves time and $ when building complex video 2D animations.
- Low learning curve.
Microsoft Powerpoint does a better job with graphic tools, slide layout design, bullet animations, slide themes, spell checking, AI integration, HTML export, PDF export, Posters and other classroom visual aids. Although opensource alternatives make it a challenge to justify the cost of Microsoft Powerpoint, they do not offer all of the same features.
