Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams Rooms

Microsoft Teams Rooms helps us for participants in any country to join. We are currently using it for training purposes for our teams that work remotely in other countries. Whenever training is required, we use it to deliver training. The Breakout rooms help us to prepare group activities and have team activities as well as allowing the instructor to go back and forth to follow up progress with the groups.

Pros

  • Content sharing - highlight key points for everyone in real time
  • Tools for interaction - polls, Q&A Sessions, whiteboard
  • Audio and vide quality is very good

Cons

  • Improve AI Camera to frame participants in large rooms
  • no translation captions in real team for multilingual teams
  • new elements to introduce quizzes and help with engagement
  • Cost savings with enhanced productivity
Hardware dependance: important to have the right certified hardware such as cameras, microphones which can limit flexibility.
User onboarding and learning curve of using the product as with any new integration takes time. Therefore, maybe thinking about a more intuitive approach could help on an easier ramp up for 1st time users.

Well suited for hybrid and remote teams. For training it works great using breakout rooms, reocrding and intelligent audio/video.
