We use the product for our email security in our organization. IT also assists us with email continuity in the event our main email provider goes down, as well as the ability to recover emails if the need arises.

Yes, we moved from Proofpoint to Mimecast Advanced Email Security.
It is much easier to manage than Proofpoint. We are able to make the product fit our needs with multiple different businesses and sites. We are extremly happy with the support we recieve when it is needed.
We were longtime customers of Proofpoint before moving to Mimecast Advanced Email Security. In my opinion, the support and product usability is heads and shoulders above what Proofpoint offered us, at a similar pricepoint no less.
