Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Advanced Email Security

Mimecast Advanced Email Security is used to protect us from malicious emails, as well as malicious links and files. It is also used to manage mailboxes as well as give us more visibility into an email we need to investigate further by providing us more information such as the header.

  • Tells users that the sender of an email is external or someone they have never communicated before etc.

The Mimecast Advanced Email Security's overall usability and console is very good. It is mostly simple and easy to use. There are just some pieces that may take some getting used to but with experience it becomes fairly simple and easy. The support team is also good in case you get stuck and do not know how to perform a certain function.
Our Mimecast Advanced Email Security solution has been integrated with other products. The integration is easy to set up and simple and works well.

It is well suited for email protection and does a nice job of detecting malicious emails, files, and links. However, there are occasionally some false positives. It is easy to release links and files to users if they are detected to be malicious when in reality they are not malicious so that is a plus.
