Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Advanced Email Security

We use Mimecast Advanced Email Security as our email security gateway. We use it to block malicious emails, spam emails, and other types of emails not needed for business purposes. As far as the spam filter is concerned, it works well and requires lttle to no manual intervention. The other filters we use still require some manual review, but works well overall.

  • Blocks spam emails
  • Block impersination emails
  • Make reviews of emails easy

Cons

  • The ability to change the filtering rules while reviewing emails
  • Having less screens to navigate to get to where I need to go
  • Dark mode if there is not one
  • Less malicious emails have gotten to the target
  • Reviews are quick
  • Management of the platform is easy
Ease of use and malicious emails being caught are the main reasons.
The integration was easy to deploy.
From what I was told, the Mimecast Advanced Email Security platform was more transparent.

For the most part, Mimecast Advanced Email Security does a great job at blocking malicious or spam emails. It is relatively easy to view emails that have been blocked and review why an email was blocked, other useful information about the email that was blocked, and either release of continue to block the email.
