Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint / SQL
Our entire organization uses SharePoint to collaborate as a company and also within each department for collaboration as needed. It eases movement of documents and information between departments and to outside resources as well.
Pros
- Security - easy to set up based on role and department in the company
- Simple - Easy to pick up and use for most users
- Expansive - While simple to use there are tons of features available to the end user as needed
Cons
- Workflow can be hard out of the box but tools are available to make it easier
