Overall Satisfaction with Newforma Project Center

Newforma Project Center has been a great tool for online collaborating with the engineers and architects within my company. It has virtually eliminated the need for us all to travel to one location to discuss certain line items within each project. It allows all of us to access RFI's for projects while it also tracks everything we do.

Pros

  • Allows for online collaborating specific projects
  • Keeps track of emails and RFI's engineer and architect needs, quick and easy access to

Cons

  • I have found it difficult to locate audits.
  • Some users have issues while uploading project data.
  • ROI has not been evaluated yet, but I assume it will be positive.
Newforma Project Center seems to do well compared to what I have used with Trello. Trello does a good job with project deadlines where I have found Newforma Project Center may lack.

I think Newforma Project Center is a handy tool for mainly our architects and engineers to collaborate and view each other plans together in one space. Previously we held weekly meetings to discuss these line items. Since using we have moved to meet in person once a month. This has saved the company money as well as time and resources.
