Overall Satisfaction with OBS Studio

OBS Studio is used for screen recording of educational tutorial material and for recording live training sessions. This allows us to get our information out to users in video format instead of relying on help desk tickets and human resources. It's easy to use and the quality of output is great.

I have also used TinyTake by Mango Apps and I prefer OBS studio because the video quality results are better and OBS allows you to record an unlimited length of the video. OBS also lets you record an entire screen instead of manually having to draw your parameters, which can create oddly sizes videos if you miss by a few pixels.

OBS Studio is a great option if you want a screen recording platform with unlimited video length (some free programs cut you off after 5 minutes). It is easy to record with OBS and then overlay your own audio in a separate video editor so you don't have to talk and record your screen at the same time, but you can record your internal mic if you need to.
