Overall Satisfaction with The Okta Identity Cloud
Okta is being used to provide two factor authentication for our portal. We are using both SAML and some SWA connections for both internal and external applications. We have 85+ applications running currently secured by groups from two different Active Directories. This is available for the whole company. This helps us access critical applications quickly from various platforms and browsers. It also helps us secure internal applications with two factor authentication both inside our network and out.

- Better reporting features like custom reporting based on expressions
- Voice and Phone call MFA options
- Increasing the feature set in the lower tier offerings.
- Rapid access to applications and data for breaking news events
- Users appreciate the single portal access model
- Saves us from lengthy rewrites of software to support different authentication systems
Our evaluation boiled down to OneLogin and Okta. Okta had better API access, better application integration catalog, strong MFA options, and good directory integration. Okta's industry presence and growth in the market place shows consumer acceptance. The feature release cycle for Okta has been decent so far. The pricing options helps large and small organizations.
