Overall Satisfaction with ON24

ON24 is used by our Marketing Department to host webinars for both customers and prospective customers. Our team uses it as a way to communicate with customers about their current products and help to drive health + adoption. The Growth Marketing team uses it as a way to host webinars for prospects to hopefully drive new interest in our company.
  • It has a great integration with Marketo which makes it easy to automate events.
  • It's easy to clone events and import content from previous events to a new one.
  • Very great CSM team!
  • The interface is not intuitive to use! It's taken a while to learn how to do basic things, and it's very easy to make mistakes.
  • The software is buggy - there have been a few times where it's totally down for even more than a day at a time. We also often get complaints from viewers during webinars that they can't hear us or the picture is blurry.
  • No matter you how upload your content, it comes out blurry.
  • Allows us to get feedback from customers and refine events to provide more value
  • Gives us a platform to help increase product adoption

ON24 has allowed us to host some events that we would typically do in person through their platform. Although our teams did leverage Zoom for many of these scenarios, I appreciate the strides that ON24 has taken to make the product better for a COVID world, like introducing presenter backgrounds and breakout rooms.
I appreciate that ON24 makes it easy to clone and replay events. This helps with an international audience and when you want to host an event a few times. I wish that ON24 allowed you to clone programs between instances (ie from the North America instance to the International one).

Marketo, Salesforce Lightning Platform (formerly Salesforce App Cloud)
ON24 is great for helping you automate processes, particularly if you use Marketo. The Marketo/ON24 integration allows you automatically import attendee/no-show data to send emails. This is helpful when passing attendance data to Salesforce as well. I also appreciate that ON24 makes it easy to replay webcasts. ON24 has a lot of little technical bug issues that make it not always the most reliable. For instance, we often hear from viewers that the slides/video is blurry when we're meeting all of ON24's recommendations/requirements. We've also had issues with screen sharing, and it was not always going through for all viewers. I'm not sure if other webcast platforms have similar issues, but it's definitely a challenge with ON24.
