Use Cases and Deployment Scope

OpenHire is used by the entire company. We use OpenHire in order to track and compare applicants and reduce paper waste.

Pros and Cons

Pros

User-friendly: The GUI of OpenHire is great. Mostly self-explanatory.
Multiple ways to get where you want to go.
Error-proof. You can go back and fix just about anything.

Cons

So much stuff is hard-coded. It would be nice if it were more customizable.
The job applicant process is confusing sometimes. A lot of people call support because they can't access their account.
OH is a little slow, even on a fast network.

Much better than paper apps
Provided a way to integrate applicants across multiple concepts and locations
Improved communication between the field and corporate employees.

Likelihood to Renew

Note: I am not the person who makes this decision, but if I were I would seriously consider OpenHire and the entire Silkroad suite when re-evaluating my needs.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for medium sized businesses. We are a huge corporation, and there are a few things I'd like to see different (more roles for our district managers, for instance).

It's very self-explanatory. Sometimes it sacrifices customizability for user-friendliness, however.
