Overall Satisfaction with OpenText Application Content Management (formerly ApplicationXtender)

We use it for Content Management with a focus on improving search, big data classification and records/documentation management to support all the paperwork regarding our business. When you generate thousands of documents, scans and other pdf from multiple departments, it's hard to keep up the classification where every department will have their own ways of doing things, from good to really bad. OpenText Application Content Management allows us to make sure this will never happen again in the sense that everything could be searched and easily found.

I recommend it for any organization that needs to manage all content, either in Marketing, legal or any other place where you need to search, collect, classify and publish content and more efficiently. Imagine a situation where you have marketing, legal, HR and finance working on a project and they need to have access to each other's content, this is where OpenText Application Content Management was a real big win, each individual from a different department was able to find what they were looking for without bothering their colleagues every time. You don't want to go back to this kind of scenario.
