Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

We use Optimizely Content Management System as a project management tool to go over the all the campaign workflow from start to finish. The business problems that the product helps us to achieve is having clear transparency of each project/campaign under a single umbrella. We use it to kickoff each project by adding all the required assets/documentation and supporting pieces and creating dependencies for each team.

We use Optimizely Content Management System and Content Marketing Platform together as a combination of products. The Content Management system helps us to manage the website maintenance on a day to day purpose. And the content marketing platform helps us to manage the project management side of things.
It keeps everything under single umbrella and it is easy to go under one platform to do multiple activities.
It took us a good chunk of time to adapt to the tool and learn more using the documentation that was provided. Over online there aren't many generic documentation available and everything is custom in this tool so it varies from different website to website.
Their multi publishing feature is not the great. And their isn't a way to create folders to organize your content in the backend for cleaner library of content.
We selected Optimizely Content Management system for their ease of use and their other offerings like content marketing platform which helps us to keep everything under one roof.

Optimizely Content Management System is well suited for smaller projects where the workflow isn't too long and there are not many dependencies between each team. It can be less appropriate when there are multiple dependency between each team as the structure or framework to support that is not supportive enough.
