Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

We use the Optimizely Content Management System to manage our website content, campaigns, and marketing pages. It helps us stay closer to our customers, as we can create new pages and make changes to existing ones quickly.

Pros

  • Unable to filter blocks depending on type.
  • There is no repository for deleted items or trash.
  • Pages are not automatically arranged in chronological order in the folder.

Cons

  • Extract of blocks list.
  • Repository of trash.
  • Search trashbin via block ID.
  • There are times when we experience lag when multiple authors are making edits and publishing content.
Web Experimentation allowed us to do testing and make back-end edits on live pages published in the Content Management System.
It took us 6 months to set up and migrate content from our old CMS. The automation setup was buggy, resulting in content discrepancies and page errors.
It is relatively easy to use, although we’ve been encountering some issues. Our development team has been in constant communication with Opti Support to resolve the problems.
