Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS
We use Dyn-DNS to facilitate active monitoring of devices at sites across the US. By having a fully qualified domain name, we can ensure that our equipment remains reachable even if the IP address changes.
- Easy to maneuver after basic instruction.
- Easy to train others how to use it.
- Simplistic.
- Reduce the steps to commit a change. Sometimes I forget to click the very last Publish link as I have already clicked "Review & Publish."
- The search function could use some updating I shouldn't have to type EXACTLY what I am searching for. For example, AAA1234 vs just AAA or 1234.
- Ability to change more than one item associated with the same site. For example, , AAA1234-WAN1 or AAA1234-WAN2 versus AAA1234-WAN1 & AAA1234-WAN2.
- Sites who do not use a static IP are easy to manage without worry about what the next IP is going to be when it renews the IP lease.
I do not use any other DNS, I cannot attest to differences.
