Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Linux

I am mostly associated with Oracle's database which is hosted in Oracle Linux. I feel Oracle Linux is a bit easier and more friendly to use as compared to Suse Linux. The compatibility of the Oracle database with Oracle Linux is better and we have databases whose sizes are in TBs hence we always try to use the best available and compatible OS underneath. And also I recommend Oracle Linux because of the easily reachable Oracle Support team 24*7.
  • Holding and performing well with TBs of data.
  • Support from Oracle Support team in case support is required.
  • After 18.3 RU we encountered roll back issues.
  • Outages are reduced due to the underlying disk and other issues.
It's friendly to use.
