Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Transportation Management Cloud

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud is the primary transportation management tool in the organization. It's used for planning all routes, freight and invoice management for order deliveries to customers. It brings transparency, accountability, and planning into freight cost of company's outbound and inbound freights. Also helps us manage calculate overheads better and provide delivered pricing built into our products.
  • Freight allocation
  • Source freight pricing
  • Back-order management
  • Rolling freight conditions from item level to header level
  • Brought transparency in company's freight charges that didn't exist before
  • Better planning of freight costs helped reduce last-minute surge pricing and reduce cost overall contributing to a positive ROI.
Oracle Transportation Management Cloud has better technology delivery overall. It helps streamline the development and deployment process as well as provide accurate/real time statuses of orders/shipments. Also it's much easier to stay in sync with an ERP system to provide accurate invoice/billing to carry vendor payment process. The inbound freight process is much more streamlined in Oracle Transportation Management Cloud.

Yes

Would you buy Oracle Transportation Management Cloud again?

Yes

Oracle Transportation Management Cloud works really well if flexibility at different planning levels is needed. The orders can be planned as early as upon order placement or as late as inventory allocation. It's fairly easy to stay in sync with an ERP system to ensure consistency in order/route/delivery statuses as well as allocate freight charges accurately to self invoice vendor freights for payments. If the cost breakdown is at individual SKU level for various temperature/storage conditions, or if charges need to be dynamically mapped to different general ledger accounts for cost allocation, the software provides limited options.
