Overall Satisfaction with Pardot

BSN is currently using pardot to manage and execute all digital marketing activities for the US market. BSN utilizes the software for marketing automation, email marketing, social marketing, forms, landing pages, etc. It allows us to quickly qualify leads thru nurturing campaigns and saves time that our sales force would otherwise be spending in making cold calls.
  • The email building platform is one of the best I've used. I have used other software like Exact Target, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc and feel this builder is far superior to the others.
  • The marketing automation is very simple to use.
  • It's integration with other platforms, like EventBrite, allow pre and post-event management that much easier. Because the two are integrated, I can immediately follow-up with registrants that actually attended our events with a simple click of a button, vs having to download and import the list into pardot manually.
  • The social marketing tools in pardot are lacking. While it gives you the ability to post to multiple twitter, facebook and linkedin accounts simultaneously, it doesn't provide any kind of preview of what the post will look like and often times the output isn't ideal. I have actually opted to use the social sites directly to post until we add Social Studio to our solutions.
  • Faster lead conversion and has streamlined a lot of our processes.
  • Employee efficiency.
I have used parts of the marketing cloud. While certain components of the marketing cloud are better (like social studio), the marketing automation and email marketing components of pardot are better and best suited for our business.
It's best suited for B2B companies with a sales force that is driving the sales. Otherwise I would select a B2C solution like the marketing cloud.
