Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used as an HR tool for our entire office. As a small company, it helps manage payroll, benefits, 401(k), PTO, Flexible Spending Account, and so much more! Since we are part of the Paychex PEO system, it is a delightful tool that helps with all of our staff's needs.

Easy online access
High level of privacy and protection

Cons

Not all the information is available.
There can be some issues upon first enrollment.
The way windows are organized can be tough to get around.

Return on Investment

It has made things easier for me since I wear a lot of hats.
It is a great outside resource for employees.
It can be hard to get employees to initially sign up!

Alternatives Considered

I was not here when the decision was made to move to the Paychex Flex system. I had used Paychex as a payroll processing company at a previous job, so it has been interesting and beneficial to see the other things they can offer. It is also a much better team behind it than just the payroll side at Paychex.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think this is a great tool that can be used by small to mid-sized companies. Perhaps larger companies could use it, but I am not sure if it would be too cumbersome for the company to manage. It is an opportunity to take some of the stress and responsibility off of the person in charge of all HR matters.
