Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
We implemented Paycor in March 2024. We have been adding new modules and while payroll, time, general ledger, etc. were managed by a Paycor Rep that walked us through all of the setup and details, the Recruiting module was dumped on us via an email of information. We had to reach out multiple times to just get one hour of someone walking through this module. The online knowledge and support center are lacking in terms of thorough information and training for Administrators and Managers. With other Payroll/HRIS vendors in the past, I have worked with, our key account rep was very good at training and addressing difficult issues with modules. It is also a valuable resource to provide so the customer doesn't feel like they have to spend hours finding an answer that may or may not be there when it is more efficient to have a dedicated Paycor Rep and time to discuss. It is highly important to offer 1-1 training so that the customer has the opportunity to see the specific value and question details that may not generally apply.
Pros
- chat support
- onboarding process
Cons
- training for newly purchased modules
- lack of a dedicated Account Rep or point of contact for each specific area/module. In my opinion, the Payroll support team that we call into is TERRIBLE. You have to talk to 5 different people who are just reading from the same worthless Support & Knowledge Center Information I can access myself. Paycom has a great structure where you have a dedicated rep for each area (benefits/payroll/HR/Talent/etc.) and when you call in, you get them or one of their dedicated team of 5. At least a small group you build relationship with and are super knowledgeable of the system and our company.
- time saved in digitalizing onboarding
- time saved in integrating timecards with payroll and separate benefits platform
- one stop shop for employees
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved 1-25 hours per month. - previously took 2-3 days to process payroll and now takes 1. onboarding used to take 2 days manually and now is on the employee with company spending about 30 mins per hire.
