Overall Satisfaction with PayHOA

I use PayHOA for my personal Home Owners Association Management, I am the treasurer.

Pros

  • Handles all of the accounting
  • Communication with homeowners
  • Banking

Cons

  • Bank Reconciliations are challenging at times
  • Live banking can be improved
  • Good ROI as a whole
  • Some of the add on services are not worth the cost (ie, sending physical mail is overpriced).
It is simple enough for users with little to no accounting experience with enough features for seasoned accountants to be able to do more.
Quickbooks was too expensive and complicated for what we were looking for.

For a homeowners association or other small service business I'd say that it exceeds the ease of use of other out of the box products (Quickbooks). For anything more involved than basic service companies, I think it is less appropriate.
