Business Payment Solutions (Solutions for SMBs)

Overall Satisfaction with Payoneer

We used Payoneer to help facilitate payment to international independent contractors and service providers. We needed a solution that would work across a variety of geographies and platforms. Payoneer wasn’t going to be our primary payment solution, but rather a method to pay contractors in areas where our other methods were unavailable or prohibitive for whatever reason.
  • Low fees
  • Broad geographic support
  • Processing time is incredibly slow
  • Verifying account was problematic and lengthy
  • Support was inconsistent
  • International support
  • ACH support
  • Invoicing
  • It was slow to process / send / receive payments, which frustrated contractors
  • Verifying the account took more time than other solutions
  • It was affordable and widely accepted, which fulfilled our needs
Payoneer supports more geographies than many of the other leading payment solutions. Additionally, their fees are very low, and don’t require a minimum monthly volume or a subscription package. Where Payoneer falls short is that it’s slow (compared to something like PayPal), has a frustrating sign-up process, and has lackluster support.

Do you think Payoneer delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Payoneer's feature set?

Yes

Did Payoneer live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Payoneer go as expected?

No

Would you buy Payoneer again?

No

If you can’t use an alternative payment provider (like PayPal) due to geographic or technological limitations, then Payoneer is a sufficient replacement. In any case where you can use a more mainstream provider, Payoneer falls short.
