PDFelement for the ROI win
Overall Satisfaction with PDFelement
It is being used by staff at a physician's office to edit and upload faxes into patient records. This was a big win for the client and allowed for them to eliminate paper/printing from this process, and to streamline this process (reducing the number of staff involved). The client has seen a reduction in the cost associated with printing and a reduction in staff cost.
Pros
- Edit and manipulation of documents - ability to remove excess pages from faxes that would clutter the medical record
- Ability to have these files saved electronically and backed up by their file systems
- Ability to reduce time, cost and effort from a previously cumbersome process
Cons
- We are happy with the product as is, and have recommended it to other clients we manage
- ROI was achieved within the first month of purchasing the product - savings in printing and shedding costs associated with HIPAA documents, and staff reductions
- PDFelement has allowed my client to save thousands of dollars per month
- Client was incredibly pleased with the overall results, and training of staff to change their procedures took less than 3 days
Much less expensive and less training than would have been involved with rolling out Adobe Acrobat to the users involved in this process. PDFelement ended up being a much more elegant solution to our problem. The training was easier than the test run we tried with Acrobat as well. The interface was more intuitive for the users with PDFelement.
