PitchBook research reports provide good insights into different aspects of technology (with reference to investments and market development). The data available is highly in numerous aspects to the PEG team.

- search options could further be 'smoothened'. more often than not i end up contacting customer care.
- In my line of work, it is difficult for me to quantify. However, data from PitchBook has very often provided me a good headstart to my projects.
The quality of data does hold up. Various groups within the organization have been using the information available in PitchBook to prepare different kinds of strategies.

Response specific to my line of work - The other sources we have don't carry in-depth tech market information. As such, PitchBook is my go-to source. Further, it also carries information about organizations providing services in various service lines and industry verticals which may or may not be available through normal web search. As such, it becomes easy if data is available somewhere so that we can get a good start and build up on that information.
