Overall Satisfaction with Playvox

Playvox is used predominantly by the Learning & Development, Quality Assessment, and Customer Service departments. We use Playvox to share documents for training modules, review and assess the level of content retention while new hires are in training, evaluate general customer service employee performance and provide feedback, and as a recreational forum across the company.
  • Playvox provides a fun, points-oriented platform to keep users engaged on a regular basis.
  • Playvox presents an appealing and soothing visual display.
  • Playvox provides rapid feedback from training quizzes or quality evaluations.
  • Social functions of Playvox are fairly limited and awkward.
  • The points system awarded for activity on the site does not attach to any perks, personalization options, or additional functions.
  • Online assessments can be re-taken, and there are no boundaries around the time limit for a retake, or the number of retakes available, which can lead to skewed assessment data.
  • The assessment piece of our quality department has been slowed down considerably.
  • Miscommunication about assessment results is common, leading to employee frustration and frequent appeals.
  • Employees feel like their assessment piece does not or should not matter, because of the flaws on Playvox.

Playvox is a good platform for training modules because finding materials for upcoming units is fairly easy. It is less effective for assessment, because of the lack of options on re-takes, content review, and time limits to prevent skewing assessment data. When interacting with other programs, Playvox will sometimes scramble the data and make a review of transcripts exceptionally difficult to do.
