Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print
We used to utilize an in-house program to manage the installations of our printers and copiers across the network. Now we use Vasion Print to enable our user base to install at their own convenience and reduce calls to the help desk.
Pros
- manages installs of copiers and printers and seems to deliver faster results with drivers readily available
- Very user-friendly platform that is easy to navigate and understand for our end users
- Ability to make needed adjustments and apply them in a quick manner
Cons
- using groups from active directory for the portal security function does not work as fluid as I would like
- I would like to see the ability to use multiple IP ranges to install printers. Our network uses different IP segments for our LAN and Wifi
- Vasion Print has given us the ability to reduce the amount of color printing substantially by applying a default black-and-white profile to our drivers.
- Vasion Print has saved our IT team time and effort by allowing users to access and install copiers on their own giving the IT team the ability to focus on other things.
