Overall Satisfaction with Private Media Channel

I use Niche Video Media to live broadcast events on the Internet. The business problems that are solved are the live broadcast works.

Pros

  • Niche Video Media offers great support. If there is ever a problem, that problem is addressed quickly.
  • The top management at Niche Video Media always offers to be standing by when an event to be live broadcasted is scheduled.
  • Niche Video Media will do more than most other companies will do. For example, this company custom designed a video player with my desired length and width and they took the full-screen button off of the player.

Cons

  • More analytical information on the viewers.
  • White label chat that is embedded along with the video player.
  • More options to customize the length and width of the player for videos on demand.
  • The video quality that is produced by Niche Video Media is good and helps to project a good image of my company
Niche Video Media has far superior support compared to the large live streaming hosts that are available.
Niche Video Media is well suited for people just getting started with live broadcasting events because they will take the time to help someone.

    Hi J.C. Thank you so much for your very deep review. I have entered a feature request for the white-labeled chat feature, and would expect a fairly basic capability within a couple of releases, improving over time. You noted in your review that we were standing by when you were starting your event at a hotel. We do this frequently due to the very common problems of having extremely bad bandwidth for uploading data from hotel venues. It's nothing we have any control over, but we make sure we're available to resolve anything that is within our control quickly - events like that are extremely time sensitive. We have found it worst when using hotel WiFi. As for analytics, since you started we added two more reports and are currently working on expanding the Viewership report with richer data about how the user interacted with the video, what portions they saw, etc. You've already used our support lines a few times in getting this far, so I'm sure you won't hesitate to do so again if something comes up. Good luck.
