Overall Satisfaction with Progress ShareFile
I am a fee-only investment adviser, and I send my quarterly reports to my clients via their Progress ShareFile folders. They get a complete report package, including cover letter, software-generated report, my quarterly newsletter, and usually a whitepaper or two about a possible upcoming investment I'll be making for their portfolio.
Pros
- Keeps client communication secure
- Makes it easy to transmit sizable files
- Expands my scope of coverage
Cons
- Sign on could be more streamlined
- Make it easier to move or reorder files for each client
- Has saved me $500 per year in printing/postage costs
- Has allowed me to deliver reports to my clients an average of three days earlier than usual.
- Has cut my overall report prep time by three hours per calendar quarter.
